Have your child color several different pictures, glue the picture onto a larger piece of paper or sturdy posterboard and and turn them into Christmas placemats.
To make them even more durable, you may want to laminate them too. Laminating machines can be purchased quite inexpensively these days or most office supply store offer lamanating services.
Then enjoy the creation and the holiday as well!

What a lovely page you have with some great links and resources. I found it by searching for Public Domain Christmas Colouring Pages. I was unable to access the images you have on this page for printing. The links did not appear to be live. Was I doing something wrong? I would really love to have a couple of them, they are lovely pictures and I have yet to come across them.
